At Hazlehead parental involvement is
welcomed and recognised as an integral part of the successful running of
the school.
The level of this involvement may range
from ensuring that children are in school on time and are supported in
the completion of homework, to helping on occasional outings, in class
regularly, or in other areas of school activities. Whatever the sphere of
involvement it is greatly appreciated.
On these pages we hope to provide
you with the information you may need to ensure that you are aware of
all the ways in which you can help and support the school community, and
your child, to ensure that we are all involved in making their time at
Hazlehead a rewarding one.
Parents may be interested in exploring the
Parentzone website
which is a Scottish Executive funded online resource for parents,
guardians and all those responsible for school age children. It gives
information on curriculum, useful organisations and much more.
We have close links with
Hazlehead Academy
and you may
find it worthwhile to visit their excellent web-site which is full of
useful and up to date news and information.
