Welcome to the Community Pages |

 |
|
At Hazlehead we are very fortunate to be part of a
thriving community in which we are actively involved. Citizenship
is built into our ethos and curriculum.
We have business links with
Angusfield Care Home
and Dobbies Garden Centre.
On the following pages we hope to give new visitors a
taste of the area in which we live both from a recreational and
geographical perspective.

Angusfield Care
Home Partnership Agreement |
|
In Spring 2009 we formalised our, already
well established, relationship with Angusfield by signing a Partnership
Agreement.

|
|
 |
 |
|
The aims of this agreement are as follows:
:To form a lasting relationship which will benefit everyone
involved
:To encourage interaction between school pupils and an elderly
population
:To raise awareness amongst the pupils of the care needs of the elderly
:To have regular visits, by pupils, to the Care Home
:To have visits to the school from Home staff for introductory and
feedback sessions.
This will be a mutually beneficial partnership which will help towards
improving pupil achievement levels whilst providing them with
experiential learning of the world of work.
You can see from the pictures below that the visits are, indeed, enjoyed
by all.
