Our Week 4th February

This week in Primary 1 we have been learning more about our topic on China.

We now have a Chinese restaurant in our classroom where we are role playing lots of different roles as waiters, waitresses, a chef and customers. Some of our customers have a bit of a tricky job using the chopsticks though! We also have some of our own menus on display.

During the week we were very pleased to welcome Mrs Hill into Primary 1 to talk to us about her trip to China.

     

Also this week we have been learning about Chinese New Year. We made Chinese lanterns to decorate our restaurant and classroom.

We used lots of different colours to make our lanterns bright and attractive to look at.
