Fantastic Fossils

This morning we had a visit from Mr Labroo and he was teaching us about fossils! We had a challenge where we had to look at different fossils and guess what they were.We learned that fossils can only be found in one type of rock – sedimentary. When animals or plants die, they turn into rock. We can only call things a fossil if they are 10 000 years old. We had lots of fun looking at and holding all the different fossils (and using the magnifying glasses!). Thank you Mr Labroo!
