Supporting The Emotional Wellbeing Of Our Children And Young People

Thursday 19th March 2020 –  Parent/Carer Event: Supporting the Emotional Wellbeing of our Children and Young People

As you will know, Hazlehead ASG have been planning a parent information event focused on Supporting the Emotional Wellbeing of our Children and Young People .  In December we asked parents to complete a short survey to help us identify the areas parents/carers would like more information on so that they can have more confidence in supporting children and young people at home.  We hope that we have been able to offer something for everyone in the planned evening.

At the event parents/carers will first of all hear from Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk, a research scientist whose work focuses on the importance of relationships in supporting the emotional wellbeing of babies, children and young people.  We have attached a short bio for Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk.  This will then be followed by two workshops which parents/carers can select from various options depending on what areas people feel are most important to them.  We will also have a number of information stands that parents/carers will be able to explore.

The event takes place on Thursday 19th March 2020 at Hazlehead Primary School from 17.30 to 20.00.  In order to book on to this event and select the workshops you would like to attend we are using the Eventbrite link below.  Booking will go live on Tuesday 10th March 2020 at 10.00am and we would encourage parents/carers to book on as soon as possible as spaces are limited.
