Art- Stained Glass Window Creations
Inspired by our visit to Craigiebuckler Church Primary one created stained glass window masterpieces this week. The children used tissue paper, black card and a laminating pouch to create a realistic stained glass window effect. We are quite proud of our work!
We have been making the most of the lovely weather today taking our maths outdoors. We used hoops, chalk and a variety of resources to create symmetrical pictures and patterns. Ask your child to talk about the pictures below. Perhaps you could have a go at home?

This week we have been learning to tell the time using o’clock and half past. Practise telling the time at home, some of these links to games might help too.
Primary 1 enjoyed a sunny walk around the community yesterday. We recorded points of interest along the way such as the local shops, Hazlehead Academy and Hazlehead Park. Thank you to all the parent helpers who came along to support.
Hazel Comes to Visit!
Hazel came to visit Primary One this morning. It was very exciting! We then wrote imaginative stories about our adventures with Hazel. We had lots of creative ideas. Hazel went to space, in a hot air balloon, on a bear hunt and visited lots more places. Ask your child about their story.
