Week Beginning 23rd March 2020
Hello Primary 3! Hope you are all doing well and that you had the opportunity to go out this weekend and enjoy the sunshine. As well as posting work here for you I will also (try my best!) to post work on Google Classroom. You were given your log-in last week and it should have been stuck in your diary. If you were off please email a member of senior management to get your log in details. I look forward to seeing all the fantastic work you are doing at home in your Google Slide.
Home Learning Timetable

Everyone took part in the Hazlehead School Ceilidh on January 30th.
P3T has already been busy since arriving back after their Summer Holidays. Please take a look at what we have been up to…
Through the Talk for Writing programme we created a story map and actions to help us remember the fable ‘The Sun and the Wind’. We learnt to adapt the story to make it our own and finally we performed it for Nursery. Please watch the video of our performance below.
In Numeracy we have been practising counting forwards and backwards 0-100. We also made our own 100 square jigsaws, which helped us identify patterns such as the units being the same in a column.
P3T were lucky enough to attend Tech Fest at Robert Gordon’s University. We went to three workshops; Glorious Germs, Gruesome Guts, and The Code Factory. All were great fun and very inspiring. So much so that we wrote fantastic personal pieces about our day later at school!
Health and Wellbeing
In P.E. we have attended a Tennis workshop with a local coach organised by Active Aberdeen. The best part was we got to play with balloons! We have also been learning balance and control through Yoga.
