We have had lots of fun in the last week doing Christmas/Winter themed activities. We created a winter picture in the messy garden and we had our Christmas Party!

This week we have been doing some class talks about our favourite place to go in the community. The children have put in so much work to these talks and have done a super job at presenting them to the class.

We have been working on movement in PE. We have been moving our bodies in different and new ways.

Our IDL topic this term is our community. This week we had a go at finding all the different places in our school community on a map. We really enjoyed doing it and were very good at working out where our classroom is.

In the messy garden this week we made adding and subtraction sums out of leaves and twigs. We enjoyed this, despite the rain!

We took on the challenge of building the tallest tower. We had to use our problem solving skills to make sure it was stable.

We have been practicing our sounds and handwriting:

Primary 2 enjoyed their scavenger hunt in the messy garden looking for signs of Autumn! We spotted lots of different coloured leaves.
