Week beginning 22nd April

This week in Maths we have been finishing off sorting.

 

We explored lots of different materials and worked with partners for some of the activities.

 

We also were working in our maths booklets this week where we sorted by colours and numbers.

 

 

In literacy this week we have been learning the sound ‘ai’ and ‘oy, oi.’

Here we have a snail made out of playdough.

 

Also in literacy we were practising

our spelling with a partner using

flashcards and the whiteboards.

We had a nice end to the week with a special visit from Professor Eco. He told us about how to save energy and what things to do in school to be eco friendly. He also had lots of fun inventions for us to try out too!
