Additional Inservice Day – Tuesday August 20th
Additional In-Service Days for 19/20
Many of you will know that the Scottish Government have allocated two additional in-service days. Local authorities were asked to request which dates they would like these to be on. Following careful consideration and consultation with head teachers and Trade Unions, Aberdeen City Council have formally requested the first of the additional days on the second day of the new term (Tuesday 20th August). The second day was requested to be Thursday 21st November to coincide with our already agreed Friday 22nd November in-service day.
These dates have been requested and I will let you know as soon as I hear that they have been confirmed. Dates will also be updated on Aberdeen City Council’s website when confirmed:
