Gaelic Medium Education Statutory Consultation

Dear Parent / Carer,

Further to my letter of 23 August, outlining details of our statutory consultation on the proposed catchment areas for Gaelic Medium Education provision in the city, I’m writing to confirm that a public consultation meeting to discuss the proposals will take place on Tuesday 14 September, at 7.00pm.

The meeting will take place at Mile End School, and all interested stakeholders are welcome to attend this meeting in person. Physical distancing and other health protections measures will be in place at the meeting, and those attending are requested to wear a face covering whilst they are in the school building, at all times when not seated (unless they are exempt from doing so).

Alternatively, the meeting will be broadcast live online, and stakeholders will have the opportunity to connect remotely to the meeting to view and hear the presentations. They will also be able to post any comments or questions they may have about the proposals, and the presenters will aim to answer the questions during the meeting. To join the meeting online, simply follow the link below, just prior to the meeting starting at 7.00pm on the 14 September:
