Our Charitable World With Gathimba Edwards

Our new topic across the school is “Our Charitable World” where all our learners will be learning about charities, how they work, how they were founded and the work they do.

Our Friends at the Gathimba Edwards Foundation work with families and children in Kenya.  We have received the picture above from them which has excited us all as we learn about charity, but in particular the Eco group and the Global group are thrilled to see us recycling across the world.

Hazlehead School has had a partnership with the Gathimba Edwards Foundation for a number of years and we frequently link up with schools in Kenya to learn about the life of the children there.
